About Your Surveyor


 

Our lead surveyor Captain Mike holds a USCG 50-ton Master Captains License with a tow endorsement. He has been involved in the marine industry for over 30 years’ operating various types of vessels up and down the east coast. He is a certified Yamaha Outboard motor technician and a Certified installer for the National Marine Electonics Association (NMEA). He also is a graduate of the Annapolis school of Seamanship Diesel Basic and diesel Advanced Courses. In addition, he holds the American Boat and Yacht Council Certified Marine Standards Advisor Certification.

To round out his extensive background, he is also a graduate of the prestigious Chapmans School of Seamanship Marine Surveyors Course. To capstone this education he went on to attend and graduate the Chapmans Damage and Claims Basic and Damage Claims Advanced courses. These credentials along with our SAMS membership will ensure that you will not only get a thorough technical inspection of your vessel, but our professionally written reports will be accepted by all insurance companies and financial institutions.
