About Marine Surveys

What is a Marine Survey? What Does a Marine Surveyor Do?

A marine survey is a comprehensive, detailed inspection of a vessel to determine its current condition. A surveyor also looks for structural issues that could cause the boat to sink, or safety issues such as fire hazards that endanger lives.

Our detailed surveys will focus on all mechanical systems in the boat. The structural and cosmetic condition will also be examined. We want to determine if the vessel is safe for its intended use. Our report will include all findings with recommendations and a valuation to give you a better idea of what you are buying when purchasing a boat.
